Hi, I'm Aida. I'm a Senior Product Designer working on AI products at TransPerfect. My mission is to find strategies to solve user problems and contribute to developing successful products.
What I value the most when working
Empathy and care for peers and users
I love product design when it goes hand in hand with a team that values kindness and communication. I believe that a good company is only based on individuals working together with honesty and respect for the whole team and their users to create a meaningful product.
Learning new things with curiosity (especially on user research)
I have a natural curiosity and I like learning new things. I'm keen on what users tell us, how to discover new things from them and how to apply all their knowledge to the products I design. My motto is: "Involve users early and often. Learn from them and iterate your work."
My skills
Design strategy
I believe that the focus on the medium and long-term vision of a product is as important as it is to solve urgent designed challenges.
Web and mobile app design
I extensively worked in iOS and Android teams, specializing in mobile components, user navigation and the precise language required for every device, from a tablet to a desktop app.
Design systems
I have created design systems from scratch, for web and mobile use (taking native mobile languages as the main approach for mobile design systems)
User research
One of my favourite things to do is to grab a chair and talk with the users. I have experience in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and creating visual, direct and engaging reports for my stakeholders.
More about me
I'm a vocational mentor and I love teaching others about things I know. It's been more than 5 years of teaching UX/UI in different schools already!
I love travelling and I enjoy the perks of remote work. Travelling is my way to understand the world and I prefer long and slow trips to get to know how is life in other places.
In my spare time, I also enjoy nature (especially near the ocean), music gigs, good books, new restaurants, and cooking (and eating with friends).
